It is designed to optimize the student nurses to acquire knowledge of pathology of various disease conditions and apply this knowledge in practice of nursing. It emphasizes on importance of the study of pathology, pathological changes in respiratory tract, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys & urinary tract, female genital system, central nervous system, clinical pathology, examination of body cavity fluids, transudates and exudates, inflammations and infections, cellular growth, serological and immunological tests, culture and sensitivity.
