What you will learn in Nursing Foundation?

It is designed to enhance the student’s knowledge on basic nursing skills to deliver quality nursing care in healthcare settings. It includes health assessment, infection control practices, vital signs, administration of medications, basic needs of the patient such as hygienic measures, nutritional needs, elimination needs, oxygenation, psychosocial needs, comfort measures and CPR. It also focuses on nursing care of terminally ill patients, hospital admission and discharge procedure, nursing process, nurse patient relationship and nursing documentation.
