What you will learn in Midwifery & Obstetrical Nursing?

It is designed to assist the student nurses in enhancing the knowledge on midwifery to deliver quality nursing care in maternity and neonatal units. It focuses on anatomy of female pelvis, fetal development, assessment and management of pregnancy, labour, puerperium and newborn. It also deals with high risk pregnancy, abnormal labour, abnormalities during puerperium, high risk newborn conditions, drugs used in labour and family welfare program.
