It is designed to assist the student nurses on acquisition of in-depth knowledge on the basics of biochemistry relating to biochemical composition and functioning of human body and alterations in understanding the biochemistry. It includes structure and composition of cell, classification of cell, techniques of microscopy, functions of cell membrane, metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids and proteins, composition and utilization of vitamins and minerals and immunochemistry.
