CNE Certification

CNE Certification is a process indicating that an individual has successfully completed the required online continuing nursing education modules to obtain credit points for the renewal of nursing license. There are several mandatory requirement that nurses must meet to renew the license as per the established guidelines of state nursing council. All the nurses are required to acquire essential continuing nursing education credit points / hours for the renewal of nursing license.

For CNE certification, the initial step is to register with Impetus Healthcare Skills CNE and create your account, then choose a module for learning and take a pretest to determine the existing level of knowledge. Subsequently, take up the three major sections of online CNE: Learning Resources, Practice Tests and Online examination.

• Learning resources are designed to provide online learning opportunities in various specialties of nursing with high quality online reading materials.
• Practice Tests are designed to help the professional nurses to determine their level of cognition and enables to identify their areas of improvement.
• Online Examination is the gate way for the user to complete the course successfully, will help to upgrade the knowledge of the learner, improve their clinical decision making skills, facilitate for certification and credit points.

The number of CNE credit points awarded to the nurses will be based on the approval by the State Nursing Council.
