The practice test is one of the most well established strategies for improving the nurses learning ability and to achieve the desired outcome. The online practice test is an independent learning platform for nurses to optimize the theoretical knowledge, skill based theoretical knowledge and problem solving approaches with the clinical scenarios for better understanding and incorporating the same into clinical practice. The practice test provides a kind of questions that learners might encounter in their clinical practice, the latest trends in nursing practice and technological advancements.

Practicing the test will help to familiarize with the look and feel of the test and also provides an opportunity to revise the different set of questions in the specialty. Nurses can access the series of practice test which includes similar types of questions those in the actual final online exam. Impetus Healthcare Skills (IHS) offers a convenient method of practicing the test in the form of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The Multiple Choice Questions in the practice tests are categorized into three levels;

• Level I: Questions related to Factual Knowledge
• Level II: Questions related to Functional Knowledge
• Level III: Questions related to Problem solving approaches

Each level of MCQs has about eight sets of questions and each set has twenty questions. All the Multiple Choice Questions have four options to answer and rationale is provided immediately after choosing an answer for each question. The results for each set of practice test will be displayed at the end of the test. The user can practice Multiple Choice Questions by taking tests in each levels of MCQs for three times to familiarize with the module. There are about 6000 MCQs for practicing in the practice test section. It is recommended to practice the test before taking Mock and Final Examination to obtain better results.
